Lack of Cartilage Leads To A Part Cut Short

Roughly one week prior to this entry, several members of the crew were shredding a nice manny pad in woburn. Jeff Burke was coming close to a nollie shuv manny, and one try he just stuck the nollie shuv, stepped off his board and landed super still on his right leg he immediately collapsed to the ground in pain. Yesterday Mr. Burke informed me he was going to the hospital to get an MRI on his knee. Apparently he had ripped all of the cartilage in his knee and it was not looking good. So the news today entails that Jeff Burke needs surgery ASAP and will be unable to skate for around 6 months. Sadly, we can not wait for Jeff Burke's injury to heal, Slowly But Surely Four will come out at the end of summer. However he will still be having a full part. For now though, you can find him at his house playing WoW. Poor kid.

Cody has returned from Alaska! Bringing me a rock and several pictorials of skate spots he drove by in Seattle. Heres one of them.

SBS RIDER TRIBUTE

This post is dedicated to nick cutter, who singlehandedly took hold of an unproductive yet enticing session and took it to a classic spot and took care of business. Born with a beer belly, nick has been improving like a maniacal robot for the last couple years. Heres a classique part of the SBS Trilogy where nick cutter was first featured. he has made significant improvement since SBS 3 debuted in freshman year of highschool (circa 2005? roughly) So hey big ups to mah boi nick !

In other news, Cody is coming home from Alaska tomorrow. JOY TO THE WORLD! For his scootering skills have been forgotten at danvers skatepark with the children trying their whips n whaps. However Cody will return, to Danvers Skatefart and shred it. IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS!

SBS UPDATES

Well, summer is here. The boys have been working harder than ever. Expect the video by August or September.

In other News, SBS Alumni PEGASUS MCCOURT has just scored himself a spot on Danvers Community Access Television. Should be somewhere around channel 38 for danvers headz.

unofficial SBSer Geoff Wheeler has been killing it at danvers park learning a record 19 tricks in one night. this includes a front crook fakie AND a frontside feeble GRIND. Congratulate Geoff when you see him for his lightning speed progression.

Jimmy has hit a home run this week scoring a job in his field of interest which is electricity. prepare to make bank jimmy.

Cherry Street News!!! Jeff Burke may possibly have a job at IRA which is not in his field of interest. His father is purchasing him a beautiful 2002 civic. JEFF BURKE STILL HASN'T PLAYED WOW in like kind of a while.

So life is good in Danvers, sit back and enjoy

Bringin it back

SO you thought the SBS4 blog was something i did a couple times and got bored of and didnt touch for almost a year didnt you? well, you were wrong, because ive just been waiting for the most epic time to update the official blog of Danvers' favorite/only shredders: SBS. I figured i would take this blog time to remenisce on the old days... oh they were the days. SBS originally started when i had a class with Greg Millen. We decided to make a video of epic proportions, and SBS was born. Since then we have put out 3 videos. Slowly But Surelys 1-3 is an epic trilogy that will make you laugh, cry, and may cause nasuea. When our 4th spectacular film debuts, it will most likely be available as a single DVD, but for new fans who haven't been collecting since middle school can buy the Box Set. Details will arise in further posts. When will the video of the year come out!?

END OF SUMMER. Get Hyped.

I have created this blog to keep everyone updated on danvers' sweethearts, which include jason ross, jeff burke, nick cutter, craig blanchette, Cody Chirichiello, greg millen, kevin mccourt, ryan campbell, jimmy mcginness, and more. filming has been intense, with everyone feeling the pressure of the new video. tricks have been abundant though, and the video has been progressing. watch this clip i made of jimmy and craig skating jackson mann in boston the other night and watch all the other sbs classics on the channel... enjoy!
