Lack of Cartilage Leads To A Part Cut Short

Roughly one week prior to this entry, several members of the crew were shredding a nice manny pad in woburn. Jeff Burke was coming close to a nollie shuv manny, and one try he just stuck the nollie shuv, stepped off his board and landed super still on his right leg he immediately collapsed to the ground in pain. Yesterday Mr. Burke informed me he was going to the hospital to get an MRI on his knee. Apparently he had ripped all of the cartilage in his knee and it was not looking good. So the news today entails that Jeff Burke needs surgery ASAP and will be unable to skate for around 6 months. Sadly, we can not wait for Jeff Burke's injury to heal, Slowly But Surely Four will come out at the end of summer. However he will still be having a full part. For now though, you can find him at his house playing WoW. Poor kid.

Cody has returned from Alaska! Bringing me a rock and several pictorials of skate spots he drove by in Seattle. Heres one of them.

SBS RIDER TRIBUTE

This post is dedicated to nick cutter, who singlehandedly took hold of an unproductive yet enticing session and took it to a classic spot and took care of business. Born with a beer belly, nick has been improving like a maniacal robot for the last couple years. Heres a classique part of the SBS Trilogy where nick cutter was first featured. he has made significant improvement since SBS 3 debuted in freshman year of highschool (circa 2005? roughly) So hey big ups to mah boi nick !

In other news, Cody is coming home from Alaska tomorrow. JOY TO THE WORLD! For his scootering skills have been forgotten at danvers skatepark with the children trying their whips n whaps. However Cody will return, to Danvers Skatefart and shred it. IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS!
